ULTRA HIGH MOLECULAR WEIGHT POLYETHYLENE (UHMWPE)
UHMWPE is an extremely tough subset of polyethylene, the most commonly used plastic in the world today. ArmorStruxx employs the material for prepping the steel for bonding to Armamid/UHMWPE spall liners, as well as finishing the steel in our CARC-compliant paint booth.
Commonly employed for use in law enforcement and civilian vehicle armor protection, as well as wearable body armor systems, Dyneema offers additional ballistics and spalling protection in concert with other aramid panels or as a stand alone solution.
A popular composite material variant of UHMWPE boasting ten times the strength of steel, SpectraShield is popularly used in bulletproof vest panels and vehicle armor. The material also sees use as sail cloth, fishing lines, and various types of cut and chemical-resistant apparel.

ArmorStruxx specializes in the processing and finishing of steel. We employ traditional abrasive blast with our in-house hardware, prepping the steel for paint, CARC-compliant paint, and for bonding with aramid/UHMWPE spall liners.
ArmorStruxx procures aluminum honeycomb cores for use in the assembly of vehicle floorplates for specialized vehicles, as well as a variety of aircraft applications. Honeycomb panels offer extremely high tensile strength, and are resistant to tensile, buckling, crush, and shear failure.
